Polypropylene grid-type filling
AMG is a manufacturer of grid-type fillings, used in water cooling towers and wastewater treatment plants and wastewater treatment plants. Injected in PP (polypropylene), it offers excellent resistance to mechanical and chemical action, with a long service life.
Manufactured with selected raw materials and robust construction, they have specific qualities to support a long service life in the most demanding operating conditions.
These are grids injected in polypropylene, which withstand temperatures of up to 90°C, or in special cases, in self-extinguishing material.
The design in the form of crossed waves minimizes air resistance, increases the heat exchange area and provides rigidity, forming a solid and non-deformable block.
Function of the filling for cooling towers
In industrial equipment, such as cooling towers, gas scrubbers, among other cooling systems, the element responsible for the transfer of heat and mass, or commonly called heat exchange, is the contact filling.
Contact filling is also known as cooling tower honeycomb, honeycomb, among other names.
The purpose of contact filling is to retain the water droplets distributed by the sprinkler nozzles for as long as possible, while the air blown or sucked by the fan comes into contact with these droplets.
We have ready delivery of the most common application sizes. We custom assemble the block according to the need.
